Norges Skogeierforbund is a central umbrella for 6 forest cooperatives, 240 local forest cooperatives and about 35 000 forest owners across the Norwegian country. Overall they are responsible for about 80% of forest production in Norway and has significant ownership interests in the Norwegian and international forest industry.  Their main task are business policy, social contact and political influence on the framework conditions for forestry and training. Impact work is based on networking, alliances and constructive dialogue with the authorities.
