On September 23, 2018, the 200 year celebration of Thorvald Meyer was held in Oslo City Hall with an exhibition of 12 rollups telling the visitors about his life. Thorvald Meyer was described as "the city's first citizen and benefactor". The design is based on the time period Thorvald Meyer lived, but at the same time given a modern feel and look. Leif Høegh's foundation was responsible for the project, while the implementation took place through Höegh Eiendom.
